'84 anti-Sikh riots accused Jagdish Tytler refuses to take lie detector test

After skipping an appearance in court, Congress leader Jagdish Tytler, an accused in the 1984 riots has now refused to undergo a lie-detector test.

His lawyer said that there is no legal ground to make Tytler take the test, for he has been given a clean chit thrice by the CBI.

Jagdish Tytler is among the senior party leaders who stand accused in the anti-Sikh carnage that shook Delhi and the country alike in 1984.

The application for the lie-detector test was moved by the CBI. Now the trial court will take the final call.
