Intolerance war: 49 celebs write to PM Modi over lynching, religious hate crime

Amid the rise in lynching cases, 49 celebrities have written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing concerns over the growing cases of violence across the nation.

Some of the celebs who have raised the concerns are eminent film directors and actors such as Adoor Gopalkrishnan, Mani Ratnam, Anurag Kashyap and Aparna Sen, Konkona Sen Sharma, Soumita Chatterjee.
