Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, 3 others convicted in journalist murder case

Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and three others were pronounced guilty in the case of a journalist's murder on Friday.

The quantum of punishment will be announced on January 17. That's next Thursday.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is already in jail. He's serving a 20-year-term in a Rohtak prison for raping two of his woman followers.

The special CBI court that delivered today's judgment is in Panchkula, in Haryana. Haryana is also home to the headquarters of Gurmeet Ram Rahim's Dera Sacha Sauda sect, located in Sirsa.
