Farm bills revolutionary or anti-farmer?

After the ruckus in the Upper House of Parliament during the passage of farm bills, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today slammed the Opposition over its members' "unruly conduct" in Rajya Sabha. Condemning the behaviour, Singh called it "extremely shameful" and unprecedented in Parliament's history.

He also hit out at the Opposition for creating "misunderstanding" among farmers acting on vested political interests, and asserted that such actions were not befitting a healthy democratic practice.
