At Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport, an airport staff member identified as Afan Ahmed has been arrested for allegedly molesting a Korean tourist.
At India Today Conclave 2022 in Mumbai on Friday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde talked about what it takes to run a state. Delivering the keynote address at the event, CM Shinde said the aspirations of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray are being fulfilled by the Union government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On his revolt against Balasaheb's son Uddhav Thackeray, Shinde said the MLAs were not happy when Sena joined in alliance with the Congress and NCP and he took the 'step' for the MLAs.
He even talked about the events that led to the Maharashtra revolt. "Maharashtra political turmoil was not a rebellion. The step was taken for the development of the state," Shinde said.
When asked, "Who will be the CM face in the 2024 Maha polls, Shinde said, "We will keep working, then public will decide."
