Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu: Bhogapuram Airport Operational by June, Validation Flight Successful

In a major milestone for Andhra Pradesh's aviation infrastructure, the first commercial validation flight landed at Bhogapuram International Airport. Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, who was on board, confirmed the airport will be operational by June 2026. Speaking to India Today, Naidu also highlighted plans for aircraft manufacturing in India, citing deals with HAL and Embraer. GMR Group Deputy Managing Director I.P. Rao detailed the terminal's design, featuring local 'Mogulu' art and AI-driven passenger facilities.
