CBI crackdown on Bengal post-poll violence

The Central Bureau of Investigation probing the West Bengal post-poll violence cases on Sunday arrested seven persons in connection with the murder of BJP activist Haradhan Roy on May 3.

The CBI has so far registered over 34 cases involving murder, rape and rioting which took place post elections in West Bengal. The CBI has filed four chargesheets in connection with these cases.
