Canada calls ties with India 'important', Asaduddin Owaisi's big statement on Ramesh Bidhuri's comments

Amid rising tensions with India, Canada's Defence Minister Bill Blair has called the relationship with India “important”. “We understand that this can be, and has proven to be, a challenging issue with respect to our relationship with India,” he was quoted as saying by Global News. In another news, Asaduddin Owaisi, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief, on Sunday said that the day is not far when there will be a mob lynching of a Muslim in Parliament. His remarks came amidst the ongoing controversy over Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ramesh Bidhuri's derogatory comments against a Muslim MP in the Lok Sabha.
