Bihar coronavirus: Patients allege medical apathy

As the country witnesses a steady spike in the number of coronavirus cases, yet another case of alleged medical has emerged from Bihar. A patient has alleged that he was not provided oxygen even though the hospital had supplies, he claimed. The patient said that he had trouble breathing in the ambulance, but the tanks in the ambulance were empty. His family had to travel with him in the ambulance, without any PPE kit. His wife and father said that they had to face immense difficulty in getting him admitted. A doctor at the Nalanda Medical College said they had vacancies for five patients, but no working ventilator.
