7 non-BJP CMs to file plea in SC against govt's decision to hold NEET, JEE exams

The chief ministers of seven states have decided to file a petition in the Supreme Court to challenge Centre's decision to hold NEET and JEE exams despite Covid-19 concerns.

The states include West Bengal, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Puducherry.

The decision was taken during a virtual meet called by Congress interim chief Sonia Gandhi to discuss the delay in GST compensation by the Centre to states as well the government's decision to hold the medical and engineering entrance exams during Covid-19 pandemic.
