Kolkata artist creates Durga idol resembling CM Mamata Banerjee | In Pics

New themes have dominated headlines in the festive season every year and this time, a Kolkata-based group has come up with a Durga idol that looks like CM Mamata Banerjee.

The Durga idol would hold 10 schemes of the West Bengal government instead of the traditional weapons of the goddess.

Mintu Pal has been working 24*7 along with his team of artists to finish the assignment for Nazrul Park Unnayan Samiti in Baguiati.

Made of fibre, the idol will not be immersed at the end of Durga Puja.
