Congress women MLAs face cyberbullying for seeking action against Rahul Mamkootathil

In Kerala, women leaders of the Congress party are facing a severe cyberbullying campaign for seeking action against ex-Youth Congress leader and current MLA, Rahul Mamkootathil's, who was sacked from his party position and primary membership after harassment allegations by multiple women. Congress MLA Uma Thomas and others who demanded action against him are now being targeted by his supporters online. Despite the backlash, Uma Thomas has firmly called for Mamkootathil to resign from his MLA post. She stated, "I won't call it a cyberattack, just like how I have an opinion. Even if they have an opinion, that is what democracy is... I have said my opinion and I stand firmly by it." The party, however, seems hesitant to take further action against the MLA.
