Watch: Suspicious boat spotted near Gujarat coast, flees towards Daman

A suspicious unidentified boat was spotted approximately 20 nautical miles off the Jafrabad coast in Gujarat. Local fishermen were the first to notice the boat and immediately alerted the boat captain via wireless communication. The matter was then reported by the Boat Association to the Indian Coast Guard. The Coast Guard immediately launched an investigation using a helicopter to locate and monitor the suspicious vessel. Preliminary reports suggest that the boat was heading toward Daman during the aerial investigation. However, no official statement has been issued by the Coast Guard so far.
