Team India departs for tour of Australia

As team India left for Australia from Mumbai, skipper MS Dhoni said he was ready to take extra batting pressure in the one-day international and T20I series, starting January 12.

Ravindra Jadeja, who performed brilliantly under Virat Kohli in Tests, will be hoping to cement his place in the ODI squad. 

In-form off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will be hoping to repeat his Test heroics Down Under. Ashwin's focus will be on improving his away record.

In-form all-rounder Gurkeerat Mann, who has been selected in the ODI squad, will be hoping give Dhoni more selection headaches.

Rishi Dhawan will be keen on grabbing the opportunity Down Under. The fast bowling all-rounder will be more than handy in Australian conditions. 

Shikhar Dhawan, who had a poor series against South Africa, will be itching to get some runs under his belt on Australian soil.

Batting coach Sanjay Bangar's inputs will be crucial in conditions that are challenging to most Indian batsmen.
