Good news: Meet the aam aadmis who were conferred with Padma awards

Mahesh Sharma, a social worker from MP's Jhabua, was conferred with Padma Shri award for social work. Known as the Gandhi of Jhabua, Sharma is happy that finally his work has been recognized.

Then, there is the same story with Satna's Baulal Dahiya,a farmer, whose contribution to organic farming has won him a Padma Shri award too.

Like Dahiya, there are Prakash Rao, tea seller and social worker, Chinna Pillai, a social worker and others who were also awarded Padma Shri this Republic Day.
