Mumbai witnessed a strong show of BTS ARMY as GOLDEN: The Moments, a global exhibition centred on BTS member Jungkook’s first solo album, opened at Mehboob Studio in December 2025, drawing large crowds over its opening days.

The exhibition marks a rare offline engagement for Indian fans and a first in India. The debut BTS member showcase reflects the growing appetite for large-scale, immersive pop culture experiences in the country, which has seen exponential growth around fandom culture.

According to organisers, the exhibition attracted a predominantly young audience, with Gen Z accounting for more than half of the visitors. A notable 22 per cent of attendees returned for a second visit. Merchandise sales also saw steady demand throughout the month-long exhibition. Reportedly, photo collectibles from the exhibition, along with the official cap and necklace, were among the most purchased items, with consistent footfall at the merchandise counters throughout the day.

Designed as a multi-zone experience, the exhibition offers a glimpse into Jungkook’s artistic journey, from his early years with BTS to the defining phase of his GOLDEN era. The sections include GOLDEN: JOURNEY, GOLDEN: MOMENTS, GOLDEN: SHINE, GOLDEN: SOLID, GOLDEN: SUBSTANCE, STEM, THEATER: SHINE, and HALLWAYS 1 & 2. The spaces feature music video installations, stage costumes, behind-the-scenes footage and personal notes. There is also a space for ARMY to leave messages for the BTS members, who are expected to announce India as one of the stops on their upcoming world tour.

GOLDEN: The Moments exhibition was brought to India through a partnership between BookMyShow Live and HYBE. The exhibition, which ran until January 11, positioned itself as one of the most significant K-pop-led fan events hosted in India.
