Suvendu Adhikari's father says he will join BJP if asked to

Suvendu Adhikari's father Sisir Adhikari, a TMC MP, on Thursday said he may join BJP, if he is asked to.
Addressing a public meeting in Chandipur on Wednesday, BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari said that his father will be attending PM Modi's rally in Kanthi. He said that he will ask his father to attend Amit Shah’s rally as well.
This comes days after Sisir Adhikari said that he will attend PM Modi’s Kanthi rally, if invited. “I will attend his (Modi’s) meeting if invited and my sons allow me,” the Adhikari family patriarch had said on Sunday.
Sisir Adhikari, who has been in a strained relationship with the TMC leadership, had on Saturday met BJP MP Locket Chatterjee. However, both said it was a “courtesy call”.
