It's official! Suvendu vs Mamata in Nandigram

The West Bengal Assembly election 2021 will witness a direct contest between friends-turned-foes Suvendhu Adhikari and Mamata Banerjee at Nandigram.

TMC chief Mamata Banerjee vacated her own seat from Bhabanipur to contest the elections from Nandigram. Banerjee on Friday announced that she will be contesting from Nandigram. Adhikari, who joined the BJP last year, had said that he will leave no stone unturned to defeat the Trinamool Congress government in the state. Adhikari, who will be fighting Mamata in Nandigram, also said that he will defeat 'Didi' by a margin of more than 50,000 votes.
