Rahul Gandhi never wanted to form alliance with SP-BSP: Akhilesh Yadav

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said Congress president Rahul Gandhi never wanted to be part of the gathbandhan or form an alliance with SP-BSP-RLD in Uttar Pradesh for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party, Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party and Chaudhary Ajit Singh-led Rashtriya Lok Dal have formed alliance in Uttar Pradesh for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

"It is good that Congress is not part of the alliance because Rahul Gandhi never wanted to form an alliance with us," Akhilesh Yadav said.
