ED vs Mamata Banerjee Updates: Thousands of people joined West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as she led a mega protest march over the ED's raids on the political consultancy firm I-PAC and the residence of its director Pratik Jain in Kolkata. Earlier today, eight Trinamool Congress MPs were detained and dragged by Delhi Police personnel for protesting outside Home Minister Amit Shah's office. There were dramatic scenes at the Calcutta High Court when the ED vs Trinamool Congress hearing got deferred to January 14 as the judge left the courtroom due to chaos caused by overcrowding. Unhappy with the adjournment, the ED approached the acting Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court, Sujoy Paul, seeking an urgent hearing.
