JEE Main 2026 Answer Key: How are marks calculated in JEE Main 2026 paper 1?

The JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 had three subjects – Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and each subject had two types of questions:

Section A: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Wrong answers lose 1 mark, correct answers get 4 marks.

Section B: Questions where students enter a numerical answer. Answers must be typed using the on-screen keypad and rounded to the nearest whole number. Wrong answers lose 1 mark, correct answers get 4 marks, and unattempted questions get 0.
