Covid curbs return in Maharashtra: Night curfew imposed in two districts

Two districts of Maharashtra -- Amaravati and Yavatmal -- have gone into weekend night curfew mode in view of the rising Covid-19 cases. The night curfew will be in place in these two districts from 8 pm to 7 am. Maharashtra has been witnessing a sudden surge in coronavirus cases, especially from eight districts -- including Vardha, Amaravati, Yavatmal, and Akola -- which have seen a 17-plus per cent of rise in fresh infections.
