Karnataka govt announces 14-day lockdown from tomorrow

Amid the surge in Covid cases in the state, the Karnataka govt has decided to impose a 14-day lockdown from tomorrow across the state. The decision for the lockdown was taken during a key cabinet meeting chaired by CM BS Yediyurappa.

During the lockdown, only essential services will be allowed. Grocery shops will remain open from 6am to 10 pm. Manufacturing sector apart from garments, construction and agricultural sectors will continue. No public transport will be allowed to ply on the roads.
