Bodies of COVID-19 victims pile up at Raipur hospital

Bodies of COVID-19 victims have been piling up at the mortuaries of Raipur's Dr B R Ambedkar Memorial Hospital (DBRAMH) as the Chhattisgarh administration struggles to deal with the sudden surge in cases of the viral infection and fatalities.

The state is one of the worst-hit states by the second Covid wave.

Meanwhile, in Madhya Pradesh's Indore private hospitals are facing shortage of oxygen cylinders. The kin of patients have to arrange oxygen cylinders from outside. Congress workers staged a protest against the state govt stating it failed to tackle the Covid situation.
