'Get a shot, have a beer': President Biden's new pitch to boost vaccination drive

A mug of free beer is the latest White House-backed incentive for Americans to get vaccinated for COVID-19. US President Biden on Wednesday announced a "month of action" to urge more Americans to get vaccinated before July 4.

"That's right: Get a shot, have a beer," Biden said. "We need everyone across the country to pull together to get us over the finish line," he said.

He is closing in on his goal of getting 70% of adults vaccinated by Independence Day.
