India-spec Citroën C5 AirCross SUV explained in 18 images

Ahead of its much-anticipated entry into the Indian market, Citroën revealed the engine specifications, exterior design, interior, features list, variants and much more of the new Citroën C5 AirCross.

The C5 AirCross SUV is a big SUV, measuring 4,500mm in length, 2,099mm in width, and 1,710mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,730mm.

To make it stand out in a crowd, the C5 Aircross SUV has chrome tailpipes and unique looking 3D LED rear light modules, while the vents in the rear bumper and tailgate spoiler emphasise the body’s aerodynamic design.

The cabin has a refined and sophisticated look to its which is most certainly upmarket.

The dashboard incorporates the 8-inch touchscreen.

The centre-console has minimalist button and commands are carried out by a touch on the screen.

Citroën will offer the big SUV with only a diesel mill which is 2.0-litre DW10FC, diesel engine that develops 175bhp and 400Nm of peak torque.

The engine is coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

You can toggle between different drive modes.

The long-wheelbase frees up an ample amount of space on the inside especially for the rear passengers with three independent adjustable settings and multiple reclining positions and the ability to slide up to 150mm.

The standard boot space allows for 720-litres.

But folding the seats down expands that to 1,630-litres.

The slightly larger bumper strips run across the bottom of the doors offer protection underneath and also gives an elevated feel.
