Bishow Parajuli, World Food Programme (WFP) Director/Representative India, in an exclusive interview to India Today, spoke on the achievements of the United Nations' World Food Programme that won the organisation the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize 2020.

The United Nations' World Food Programme won the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize "for its efforts to combat hunger, for its contribution to bettering conditions for peace in conflict-affected areas and for acting as a driving force in efforts to prevent the use of hunger as a weapon of war and conflict."

The World Food Programme or the WFP is a global body affiliated to the United Nations. Its objective is to alleviate hunger from the world.
