Video: The moment mega 7.6 magnitude earthquake left Japan shaking

A series of strong earthquakes struck Japan on Monday, prompting authorities to issue tsunami warnings and advisories for people on the country's northwestern coast to evacuate, local media reported.

A video of the earthquake captured by Japan's Hokuriku Asahi Broadcasting showed the significant impact of the quake.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), the earthquake hit Ishikawa and nearby prefectures, with one of them having a preliminary magnitude of 7.6, according to The Associated Press.
