Trump: US Will 'Run' Venezuela Until Transition, Maduro To Face Trial In New York

Following the operation, which involved an infiltration of the Venezuelan capital, Trump announced that the United States will 'run' Venezuela to ensure a 'safe, proper and judicious transition'. He also stated that major American oil companies are set to enter the country to repair its 'badly broken' infrastructure. Maduro and Flores are reportedly en route to the U.S. to face justice on narcoterrorism charges. Trump asserted that the military action also addressed threats from the Tren de Aragua gang and contributed to securing the U.S. border.
