Nepal unrest: Ousted PM Oli's party hits back, brands youth protests 'anarchy'

Nepal's former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's party has reacted to the youth-led protests that resulted in his ouster, labelling the movement as 'anarchy'. The party has called for an investigation to identify individuals who they state indulged in violence and targeted the country's institutions. This response comes after violent events on September 9, which were preceded by a crackdown on September 8 where 19 peaceful protesters were reportedly shot. The 'Gen Z' protesters had been raising their voices against several issues within the country.
