Qassem Soleimani was plotting sinister attacks, says Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he ordered the killing of a top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani "to stop a war," not start one. Trump claimed that Soleimani had been plotting "imminent and sinister" attacks on US diplomats and military officials".
