Coronavirus spreads to other countries, death toll in China mounts to 80

The death toll from China's new coronavirus grew to 80 on Monday as residents of Hubei province, where the disease originated, were banned from entering Hong Kong. The total number of confirmed cases in China had risen about 30 per cent to 2,744.

The virus has also been detected in Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Nepal, France and the United States.
