Epstein's ex invited him home when daughter was 15: She'll have 5 friends over
Jeffrey Epstein had already served jail time in Florida in a trafficking case and was registered as a sex offender when he exchanged emails with Eva Andersson-Dubin, his on and off girlfriend throughout the 1980s.

Newly released records from the United States Justice Department investigation into the crimes of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have drawn fresh attention to a 2010 email sent by Eva Andersson-Dubin, a former girlfriend and associate of the disgraced financier, inviting him to visit her home years after his conviction.
The message, included in a fresh tranche of documents, was sent two years after Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida to soliciting a minor for prostitution and served a brief jail sentence in 2008.
At the time of the email, Dubin's daughter Celina was believed to be 15 years old.
"Come and visit next week, Celina will have 5 friends over," Dubin wrote.
Records also show that Dubin appeared uncertain who contacted her by email. In one exchange, she replied, "Who is this??????"
Epstein responded by identifying himself and writing, "My new hei," followed by "Sent from my iPhone," according to the documents.
In another message, he added, "I’m at the ranch," with the remaining portion of the text redacted in the released files.
That the emails were exchanged when Epstein had already served jail time in Florida and was registered as a sex offender has raised eyebrows.
According to a report in Vanity Fair, Eva and her billionaire hedge fund husband Glenn Dubin were among the first to re-welcome Epstein into their social circle after his release from prison.
In 2009, a year before the resurfaced email, Eva Dubin wrote to Epstein’s probation officer acknowledging his conviction but saying she was "100% comfortable with Jeffrey Epstein around (her) children".
She later invited him to Thanksgiving dinner.
Eva Dubin, born Eva Birgitta Andersson in Uddevalla, Sweden, is a former Ford Model who won Miss Sweden in 1980. She then attended UCLA medical school and also dated Epstein on and off throughout the 1980s before marrying Glenn Dubin in 1994. Despite the end of their romantic relationship, the two remained friends for decades.
She has long disputed claims that she was aware of Epstein’s broader conduct. After his 2019 arrest on federal sex trafficking charges, a spokesperson said that the allegations were completely counter to the person she is familiar with, adding that the Dubins were horrified by the accusations.
"If they had been aware of the vile and unspeakable conduct, they would have cut off all ties and certainly never have allowed their children to be in his presence," the statement said.
TESTIMONY IN GHISLAINE MAXWELL TRIAL
Eva Dubin testified as a defence witness during the 2021 sex trafficking trial of Ghislaine Maxwell. On the stand, she denied participating in any sexual encounters involving Epstein and Maxwell and said she did not recall meeting one of Epstein’s accusers.
Pressed about gaps in her memory, she told the court: "It's very hard for me to remember anything far back, and sometimes I can't remember things from last month. My family notices it. I notice it."
She also testified that Epstein had what she described as an uncle-like relationship with her children, who referred to him as "Uncle F," and said she and her husband were comfortable with that dynamic.
