Devastating earthquakes in Turkey, Syria leave over 4,000 dead | In Pics

A massive earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 ripped through Turkey and Syria early on Monday, decimating entire apartment blocks, hospitals and leaving thousands of people injured or homeless. This was followed by two more temblors of magnitudes 7.6 and 6.0 in Turkey. As of Tuesday morning, the three quakes combined have left over 4,000 people dead. Tremors from Monday's earthquake and its aftershocks have been recorded across the region, including in Lebanon, Israel, Iraq and Jordan.
