Eyewitnesses said that that a group of local youths stripped, stabbed, and robbed the man, leaving him bleeding. The attackers also made false accusations against him. The incident has sparked outrage, with calls for swift action. A local woman, Jennifer Murray, who saved him, provided a harrowing account, stating, "They punched him in the head with what I can only assume was a blade between their knuckles." Murray also mentioned a disturbing trend, noting, "Four Indian men and another man have been racially stabbed by this gang of teenagers in the last four days in Talat."Â
