Arun Jaitley's Union Budget 2018 showed that BJP had paid heed to the verdict of Gujarat elections. Farmers, youth and voters in rural areas had turned against BJP in 2017 Gujarat Assembly election.
"Our emphasis is on generating higher income for farmers," Jaitley said while presenting the Budget today.
