Rise in hate crime in US: Third incident in 2 weeks

Another incident of hate crime has surfaced wherein a 39-year-old Sikha man Deep Rai was shot by an unidentified gunman outside his home in Kent, Washington State.

According to the police, an argument broke out between the two men. the miscreant allegedly shouted "Go back to your own country" and shot him on the arm.

This is the third incident in 2 weeks after Indian techie Srinivas Kuchibhotla was shot dead in Kansas and Indian-origin convenient store owner Harnish Patel was found dead last week.
