700 government websites hacked in 3 years: Ministry of Home Affairs

With over 700 government websites being hacked between 2013-16 including NSG's website, it's high time that Indian government strengthens its network security.

Most of the duration is during Modi led Government. The government informed that while nearly 8300 persons were arrested for hacking under sections of cyber crime, only 315 were convicted in 2014-2015.

This was informed by Minister of state for Home Hansraj Gangaram Ahir in a reply to an unstarred question.
