Lone muslim Yogi Adityanath minister slams AIMPLB on triple talaq

The only Muslim face in Yogi Adityanath's cabinet has hit out at the All India Muslim Law Board over the Triple Talaq issue.

 

He has said that Muslim body should be called 'Maulvi Personal Law Board' adding that all organisations must function within the framework of the constitution.

 

This is coming at a time when the All India Muslim Law Board has in fact even gone to the Supreme Court asking and urging the court not to interfere in the board's personal law.
