Jammu and Kashmir cricketers started their pre-season camp at the scenic Motibaug ground in Vadodara on Friday.
âWe know there is not much time in hand, but we have to be ready for the Vijay Hazare Trophy - which begins on September 24. So, our target is to make the most of the opportunities we get,â Irfan Pathan, the teamâs mentor, told India Today.
While most of the cricketers preferred to stay away from the media, Pathan - who has played 29 Tests, 120 ODIs and 24 T20Is for India - made sure that the cricketers felt at home.
âThe players have been out of the game for a while now, so it will take a bit of time to get things back in shape. But we still have three weeks in hand, hopefully things will improve,â Pathan said.
