India star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja opened up on Steve Smith's run-out in the Sydney Test, his injury and how the team bounced back after Adelaide's defeat to retain the Border-Gavaskar series 2-1.
"I think after Adelaide's loss, it was a bit tough. You know bounce back from there. Especially in Australia, playing against Australia. It was tough as Australia's bowling attack was very strong. That was the discussion we had in the team meeting," Ravindra Jadeja told Boria Majumdar in an exclusive with Sports Today.
"At first I didnât realise that I had fractured my thumb amidst the momentum of batting. But when I left the field and scans were done, then we got to know that itâs a broken thumb. But itâs okay, if I had to bat for the team in this situation I definitely would have," Jadeja added.
