Good News | India vs England 3rd Test: Revamped Motera stadium to host inaugural match

The revamped Motera Stadium is set to make its debut when it hosts the third Test match between India and England starting from Wednesday.

The refurbished Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad, which is the largest cricket ground in the world, has a capacity of 110,000 which trumps the MCG in Australia that can accommodate 90,000 people. The old stadium was closed in 2015 for reconstruction and the Test match starting from Wednesday will be the first international to be played at the ground since November, 2014.
