The Indian Women's cricket team will play hosts England in the final of the ICC Women's World Cup at Lord's on Sunday.
Diana Edulji, former Indian women's captain and current member of the Committee of Administrators (CoA), believes the secret to India's chances at winning the World Cup is to just play like they have played against New Zealand and Australia in their last two games.
"Just play like you played New Zealand and Australia, you've beaten England in the first game against them and IÂ think if we bat first, we get 250 on the board, if it's a 50-over game, I think our bowlers can pull it off," Diana said in an exclusive to India Today.
"The two losses to South Africa and Australia in the league phase, put us a little behind and that created a little confusion whether we would qualify. so from back to the all, the way they played in the New Zealand game, I think that literally brought more confidence into the team and that is why Australia got bear the brunt of it," she added.
