Care Today Foundation empowers young archers in Maharashtra's Wadhona

A year after we showed the story of Dipak Wanve, a teacher who doubled as an archery coach and trained his students with limited means, and now India Today Group's Care Today Foundation has stepped in to provide professional archery equipment to these aspiring athletes.

"I'm very happy to say that after six months, India Today's Care Today Foundation gave us the equipment we needed, which helped us a lot," coach Dipak Wanve said. Previously using outdated instruments, the children now train with advanced compound bows, transforming their practice and turning their dreams of competing at national and international levels, including the Olympics, into a tangible goal.
