365 days to Tokyo Olympics 2020: India banks on shooters for glory

Tokyo Olympics is exactly a year away and India's preparation for the showpiece global event is underway. A record medal haul is spoken about almost before every edition of the Summer Games but India have hardly lived up to the pre-Games buzz.

With a year to go for the Olympics, Indian shooters, as always, are showing a lot of promise.

India have already sealed 7 quota places for the Tokyo Olympics with teenage shooter Manu Bhakar clinching the latest at Munich World Cup in June.

Abhishek Verma, Saurabh Chaudhary, Anjum Moudgil, Apurvi Chandela among others have all been in good form, winning and setting records at major events, including World Cups.
