World Cup 2023: Sri Lanka all-rounder Angelo Mathews said that the umpires could have gone back and checked before dismissing him against Bangladesh in the ongoing ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023. Mathews was dismissed without even facing a single delivery, having been timed out in New Delhi. He became the first player to ever be timed out in international cricket.
