Rohit Sharma opens up about his absence from Sydney Test

Rohit Sharma has addressed his absence from the Sydney Test and stated that he stepped down from the team. Rohit was criticised for his poor form as he scored just 31 runs in 5 innings at an average of 6.20.

The captain said that he discussed the situation with coach Gautam Gambhir and Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar, both of whom supported his decision.
