Star India opener Shikhar Dhawan during his session at the India Today Conclave Mumbai 2022 discussed a range of topics-- Virat Kohli's return to form, how India can end ICC title drought, how IPL has helped young players gain confidence, favourite cricket memory, favourite fitness technique.
"In the IPL, all these youngsters get a chance to share the dressing room with world-class players, not just Indian players but overseas players. When these youngsters perform well and realize that they can perform even in a team full of international players, that gives them confidence. Iâve noticed the young players coming in are more confident compared to the earlier generations. Compared to the time when I made my India debut, self-belief has risen a lot. These young players get so much exposure, so I think the IPL has benefitted Indian cricket," Dhawan said.
His session was titled - On the front foot: Life on and off the pitch.
