Rajasthan Royals batter Nitish Rana has said that he has no issues with the umpires checking the bats as he feels it is their right at the end of the day. RR's' Shimron Hetmyer, RCB's Phil Salt and MI skipper Hardik Pandya's bats were measured on the Field Of Play recently.Â
Â
"There's shortage of time when it comes to T20 cricket, if the umpires have enough time to check player's bats then I believe they have the right to do so...not only Hetty's (Shimron Hetmyer) but my bat was also checked. Almost 60 to 70% of the batters bats were checked. We have no say on it and that can't be controlled. The bats we use in the match comes to us from the sponsors directly, if the umpires have to check them, then we have no issues", Rana said in the pre match press conference.
