Jharkhand were the standout side of the tournament, suffering only one defeat on their path to the title, and time and again they showed composure under pressure to find a way through.
It was a triumph built on consistency, character and collective resolve, a fitting reward for a side that rose to every challenge and fully deserved to lift the trophy.
Jharkhand are just one wicket away from their maiden SMAT title after Sushant Mishra removed Anshul Kamboj and Bal Krishna dismissed Samant Jakhar, leaving Haryana needing 97 runs off 27 balls.

Anukul Roy makes an instant impact, striking with his very first delivery to break a crucial partnership and give Jharkhand a much-needed breather. Bowling from around the wicket, he drifted it across and pitched it on a fullish length. Sindhu went for the slog sweep but failed to generate power or elevation, skewing it straight to long-on where Rajandeep Singh accepted a straightforward catch. Sindhu is visibly frustrated — this was a match-up Haryana desperately needed him to dominate.

Two wickets in three balls — Anukul Roy is on fire, and Jharkhand are closing in on the trophy. Another set batter departs as Roy once again outfoxes the opposition. Spotting Dalal advancing down the track, Roy cleverly took the pace off and dragged the length back. Dalal committed to the lofted stroke but mistimed it, offering a simple chance at long-off. Rajandeep Singh moves in and completes his second catch of the over. A superb season for Anukul Roy continues with yet another decisive contribution.
Doublestrike from Anukul Roy in the 10th over and that has absolutely wrecked Haryana's innings.
Anukul comes to bowl his very first over and sends back Yashvardhan Dalal and Nishant Sindu.
Both Dalal and Sindhu were going hammer and tongs against Jharkhand with a mini-uprising of a partnership.
However, hopes of any comeback has been cut short.

Sumit Kumar’s over turned into a mini power-hitting exhibition, and Kushagra was once again at the heart of it. Kushagra turned the fourth over into his personal highlight reel, absolutely mauling Sumit Kumar with three thumping boundaries. He danced down the track, smoked one straight back over the bowler, and then followed up with a fierce pull through mid-wicket before caressing another through the covers. Even though Sumit tried to adjust—mixing up length, angle, and pace—Kushagra stayed in command, peppering the fielders and keeping the momentum firmly with his side. A statement over, and a clear sign that Kushagra’s confidence is sky-high!

It is the final of the highest level of domestic T20 competition. But there was no feed till the final moments of the match.
The toss was expected to be live but no feed was given at all.
The BCCI feed tells us that Haryana has won the toss and opted to field first.
The 28-year-old is the highest run-scorer of the tournament, amassing 448 runs from ten innings at an average of 49.77 and a strike rate of 172.97, including five half-centuries. He will once again be key to Haryana’s chances in the final.
